This July, Omnimed is joining the nation in celebrating and supporting our NHS by hosting our own NHS Big Tea party to support NHS Charities Together. Get involved by popping the kettle on, warming the teapot and turning tea and cake into cash for our beloved NHS.
Managing Director, Michael Morris said “I’d encourage everyone to host or attend an NHS Big Tea - not only to celebrate the wonderful work our NHS has done over the last 75 years but to also raise much needed funds for NHS charities. Participating in the NHS Big Tea provides a fantastic opportunity for celebration, fundraising, socialising and of course, enjoying some delicious baked goodies, so we are literally able to ‘have our cake and eat it’!”
Every penny raised from the NHS Big Tea can help support NHS staff, patients and volunteers. The last few years have been particularly challenging, with many staff becoming burnt-out, anxious and exhausted.
Funds raised from The Big Tea can address some of these challenges by helping to ensure staff have somewhere to rest during busy shifts, that those who are struggling with their mental health have access to counselling support, and that peer-to-peer training is available to help staff better support each other.
