ISO 14001 | Working towards

As part of our commitment to Green Endoscopy and the wider goals of the Greener NHS Programme, we have made a commitment to making specific changes internally to ensure Omnimed is a more sustainable supplier via a range of internal initiatives. Details of both completed and planned carbon reduction initiatives can be found in our Carbon Reduction Plan. One of our planned initiatives which we are currently working on is to comply with the requirements of ISO 14001, which is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system. MIA Accreditation

MIA Registration Number: NHSE MIA/0049/23

Omnimed is a Master Indemnity Agreement (MIA) Approved Supplier.

The Master Indemnity Agreement (MIA) register provides a list of all approved suppliers to NHS organisations in England for the purpose of providing loan or free of charge equipment.

We need to have product and public liability insurance to become an approved supplier on the MIA Register and to adhere to the NHS Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Goods and the Provision of Services. This requirement ensures that we have taken the necessary steps to protect ourselves and others in case of harm or damage. Being on the MIA Register is essential for us because it allows us to supply equipment to NHS organisations while following regulations. By choosing an MIA Approved Supplier like Omnimed, you can be confident that you are purchasing from a reliable and trustworthy source. This gives you peace of mind, knowing that you are receiving quality products and services from a reputable company.
